Does a hair transplantation is safe for scalp or not?

Yes, off course because the hair transplantation is safe and very secure process and it has absolutely no side effects. So the recipients and donor scalps are secure from any harmful and notorious after effects. There are two major different hair transplantation methods, which are used on scalp during surgery. These methods are depending on your scalp criteria but m=both procedures are free from any hazard.

•    Flap surgery:  This method has been performed for more than two decades. This is most effective method for scalp and it can cover an extensive bald area and is modified to suit the needs of each patient.  The size and arrangement of the flap depend upon the aims and wishes of the patient and each of the flaps can work with more than 350 grafts.

•    Scalp reduction:  This method is recently introduced by the help of technologies for the prevention of bruises on scalp and it is also called “advancement flap surgery. In this surgery the selected parts of scalp are filled with donor grafts and cover the baldness spots.  This technology is used for balding spots at the top and back of the head and is not used for covering a frontal hairline.

Hair replacement surgical treatment does not create any long-lasting side effects.

In the majority cases, the hairs fall out of the grafts instantly after hair transplant without any scars or irritation but may be you have to wait for about three months for regrow your hairs. The donor scalps sites gradually cure to leave slight scarring but this is concealed by “lifetime” hair growing around the site.
