Hair Dusting will help you maintain your Hair Length

It is hard for one to keep a healthy hair and keep it at exactly the same length. This is challenging, and when one goes to the salon, they end up parting with an inch or two to prevent their hair from looking like the ends of broom stick.
There is a type of hair cut which works by nixing the dead ends of the hair without making it look shorter. This technique is known as “hair dusting”.
In Hair Dusting, you will not get rid of any hair length, but you only get rid of the hair ends which have been damaged. This is achieved by snipping of the bottom part of each hair strand. You can think of this as the way you remove fuzz from clothes. Your aim is to have as smooth hair as you can first since you are in need of allowing your bad hair to first pop up. This is the one you will be doing away with.
In candle cutting, a lit candle stick is used for burning the split ends which split out from the twisted section of hair. This approach is mesmerizing for one to watch and less hazardous. However, this process will need an expert to do it and it will take a much longer time to accomplish when compared to a regular hair cut. However, the fact is that this style does not mean that you will have to part with some hair at the end of it.
During winter, excess blow drying usually leads to split ends. Although you may protect yourself from these, it will be hard for you to avoid the frayed ends. Hair dusting is the only way which can help you cut your hair without having to compromise its length. In this technique, only the split ends are cut, and the process is usually done in a superfast manner.

When it comes to the frequency with which the hair dusting should be done, it should be similar to normal hair trim. The main determinant factor to this is the amount of coloring as well as the heat styling that you need on your hair. In dusting, only less than a-quarter of the hair is trimmed from your hair. Since only little hair will be trimmed from your head, the clips which are gathered will resemble “dust”, and this is where the process gets its name from. The process will provide you with an efficient alternative to cutting long hair, and it is the best approach to anyone who wants to maintain a healthy and long hair.
If your hair is fine, then you don’t have to watch it grow long without dusting. The structure of this type of hair is much different from coarse hair, and it will split and then break faster when compared to other types of hair. This means that individuals with fine hair should dust their hair more frequently compared to those with thick and coarse hair strands.

Why you should oil your hair regularly?

Hair oiling has been an important technique for woman of any century. Still it is considered an important routine because it prevent premature greying and strengthen hair roots. Usually women doesn’t know that their scalp also generates its natural oil that helps in hair nourishment. Oil massage is necessary because too much oil can block the pores.
Oil massage not only relaxes muscles and body but also keeps nervous system healthy. Hair oiling keeps calm the mind and also serves as the headache healer. Warm oil leaves special results and relieves, stress, eases muscles strain and increases blood circulation in and around head. More active blood circulation ensures strong hair follicles, hence better hair growth.
Dove celebrity Stylist Mark Townsend says that “Every woman would benefit from using oils even just once a week. You’ll see a major difference in your hair.” Oil nourishes hair, and when hair get enough nourishment, its growth rate improves. Regular hair massage helps regain hair lost due to use of hair styling machines or chemical treatments.
Mark says that oils are great protectant and great health booster. He says “The benefit in most of the oils is all the fatty acids, which replace the lipids in your hair when it starts to get really fine. Right before it splits, that means there’s nothing holding it together, and all those lipids are gone so you need to replace them.”
Hair oiling provides hair limitless benefits. There are some organisms that can attack scalp and damage it. Oil components acts as a barrier against such organisms. Hair absorbs essential oil nutrients that helps hair to acquire health, shine and attractiveness. Over-shampooing washes off oil too that may lead to dullness and dryness.
Oiling keeps hair full of moisture and coconut oil is best to use. As Mark suggested to use coconut oil for dry and damaged hair. He said that “I’ve never found anything more moisturizing for the hair than just straight coconut oil. I even add straight coconut oil to conditioner. Jojoba oil is an amazing lubricant for the hair. Argan oil has the great benefits of leaving the hair soft, silky and smooth – that oil will reflect the light, making your hair look super shiny.”
Dry scalp often leads to dandruff that may cause itching on the scalp and further result in hair breakage. Hair oiling on the scalp helps glands to produce enough oil to prevent damage. Massaging hair once a week is must. Warm oil is preferred by experts to apply on the scalp; it restores the hair shine and soothes the scalp too.
